The Indian fashion industry seems to have acheived a lot over the past 61 years. Right from 1964 till 2008, the country has acheived quite a lot as far as fashion is concerned. Right from Rita Faria to Priyanka Chopra, not to forget Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta, we have come a long way in winning the international fashion titles of Miss World and Miss Universe. The country has produced several eminent fashion designers who, by virtue of their talents, have given a new dimension to fashion, thereby creating a mark in the world fashion scenario. Fashion Designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, J.J.Valaya, Rohit Bal, Rina Dhaka, Ritu Beri, Tarun Tahiliyani have carved a niche a for themselves in the international fashion map. They have taken Indian fashion to a new high…a level where other countries are using traditional Indian designs on their creations.
